Support positions include:

Residential Support Workers
As a residential support worker you will provide support to individuals as needed in their home. Under the direction of your Team Leader you will encourage and support residents to participate in the activities and duties of the home and community and social events of their choice. You will offer guidance in developing life skills, developing meaningful relationships and encourage independence.

Requirements:

  • Valid First Aide Certificate
  • Clear Criminal Record Check
  • Clear Child Abuse Check
  • Grade 12 diploma

Day Program Support Workers
As a Day Program Support Staff you will provide support and guidance to individuals participating in either our Work Skills Division or our Adult Recreation Centre. Under the direction of your Manager you will encourage and support individuals to participate and be successful in achieving their goals whether they are career goals or social ambitions. Support is provided in job development and employment, social and life skills including decision making and problem solving and exploring personal and recreational interests in the community.

  • Grade 12 diploma
